I was running in Frisco this morning and went for a run through The Star, the Dallas Cowboys training facility. In the outskirts of the complex I ran through traffic circles that had exits built that just stopped in the grass and led to nowhere. There were just open fields beyond. I ran through the first two then as I entered the third one I began to realize these were traffic circles to nowhere!
This struck me initially as odd. Why they go to the trouble to create exit points that lead to nothing. This seemed like futility. Why waste concrete and therefore money that served no purpose. On just the initial look this seems silly.
Jerry Jones is a master of opportunity. Like him or hate him you have to appreciate his ability to cast a vision. And that is when I realized the purpose of the traffic circles, opportunity!
These exit points were built for future opportunity. There was a vision of more offices, restaurants and apartments to be built. This was built to be ready for opportunity. And this is how we must learn to live today!
I have the desire to speak and share my MOEO vision to people all over. But because of the current situation with Covid-19, opportunities to speak have evaporated. So I could decide to just sit back and wait for opportunity to eventually come. Or I can prepare NOW! I can build my talks, build my message, build my vision and be PREPARED when the opportunities materialize! So I will keep building my traffic circles to ANYWHERE!!
